Philleen was born & raised in Burbank, CA. (currently lives in the Burbank Rancho area) and has lived in the Los Angeles area virtually all her life.  She has an intimate knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of various locations for living throughout Los Angeles County.

Before becoming a full time Realtor in 1998, Philleen spent 15 years in the fashion business, where, among other accomplishments, she created a multi-million dollar company ($6-10 million annual sales) from scratch.   After she sold that business to devote total attention to raising her three daughters, she began investing in real estate and managing properties.  She discovered that she not only had a talent for it, but that she also enjoyed it.  In addition to gaining a business perspective on real estate buying and selling, Philleen gained valuable experience in home remodeling, home repair, and most important, understanding the buying and selling of real estate from the perspective of the buyer and the seller.

After her last daughter went off to college, Philleen became a full time realtor in 1998 – joining Remax Elite in 2000.  She has earned a solid reputation among her peers for her outstanding work and ethical practices.   Starting in 2002 through the present, she has been a member of Re/Max’s esteemed 100% Club and along with a variety of other awards from Remax, was the second highest producer at Remax Elite in 2009.

She is also involved in the community, raising funds for such charities as Children’s Hospital, Project Achieve, Family Promise, and CII, (Children’s International Institute).   To relax, Philleen does ceramics, some of which have been displayed (and bought!) at various ceramics shows.  “There’s something about creating beauty out of clay and paint that not only calms me but brings a smile to my face.”

Philleen is easy to talk with and is a superb communicator, which is one of her secrets of success.  But don’t let her pleasant demeanor and soft-spoken style fool you.  She was once called the “Teddy Roosevelt” of real estate because of her ability to “walk softly and carry a big stick.”  She is a superb negotiator – a talent honed in the cut-throat world of fashion and her many years and hundreds of real estate transactions; She fights for her clients every step of the way to not only make sure they get the best deal possible, but that they are protected.
